BARRON COLLIER COMPANIES AND METRO COMMERCIAL ANNOUNCE SECOND VENTURE IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA

Barron Collier Companies and Metro Commercial announces second venture in southwest florida.

NAPLES, FL., — March 6, 2023— Barron Collier Investment Partners, a joint venture between Barron Collier Companies (BCC) and Metro Commercial Development Group, have partnered on their second venture, Winchester, a 21-acre property on Immokalee Road and Orange Tree Boulevard.

Winchester will include a major medical tenant, quick serve restaurant, storage facility and retail space; tenants will be announced soon. The property is cleared and has recently broken ground with an anticipated opening to occur mid-2024. The Winchester project is part of a greater alliance between Metro Commercial Development Group and Barron Collier Companies to develop ground up and redevelopment and new opportunities throughout the state of Florida.

“Partnering together on these projects has proven successful and we look forward to working together on more commercial and mixed-use development in Southwest Florida and beyond,” said Dan Hughes, Chairman, and Principal for Metro Commercial Development Group.

The first joint venture, Founders Square, is a 50-acre development located on the southeast corner of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard. The first phase is The Point at Founders Square which spans 40,000 square feet and is 100% leased. Tenants include several retail and restaurant tenants including South Street City Oven Bar & Music, Outback Steakhouse, Fuji Sushi, Tacos & Tequila Cantina, as well as medical providers. Phase 2, The Plaza at Founders Square, will be anchored by Sunshine Ace Hardware and is currently under construction with leases signed for Spenga, Oar & Iron restaurant (formerly 110 Grill), Restore Hyper Wellness, and Havana Libre. On the out parcels, 7-Eleven is expected to be completed soon and there are signed leases with Lake Park Diner, a local casual eatery that focuses on quality organic and sustainable products, and Kelly’s Roast Beef, a Boston-area restaurant established in 1951 and known for its legendary roast beef sandwich with locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Sarasota.
